Location:
- Exit Woodmen Road off the I-25. Go west and turn right when it splits at Rockrimmon. Turn left onto Carlson and then you'll be parked on the correct side of the street. [Address: 1315 Carlson Road] MAP to Woodstone Park
Highlights:
- The playground is at the top of a huge, grassy hill which the kids love to roll down
- Bring your dog or bike and make a trip around the loop
- It's easy to see the kids when you supervise from the small covered picnic table
- Two separate play structures with great slides and also 2 bench swings/2 baby swings
- Plenty of parking along the street and seems really safe with lots of people coming and going from residential neighborhood.
Be Aware:
- NO bathroom and water-fountain is capped off
- Only hazards are the kids possibly running off toward the street or falling in the rocky/rough concrete drainage ditch by the drinking fountain which leads down toward the street (somehow this ditch is a huge kid magnet)
Checklist:
- Parking on a residential street
- Sand play surface with some pads of recycled rubber
- NO restrooms
- No shade except for picnic table cover
