2009 Colorado State Parks Annual Passes
Will you be heading to a state park at least 10 times this year? There are some beautiful Colorado State Parks within driving distance of Colorado Springs. Normal day use cost is $6 per vehicle. The Annual Pass is $60 for 12 months from the date of purchase. Gift certificates are available. The Colorado State Parks website is easy to navigate for information on the 41 state parks covered by this single annual pass.
- Cheyenne Mountain State Park is the closest - just west of Fort Carson.
- Mueller State Park is up near Divide behind Pikes Peak and above the Springs on the way to Cripple Creek.
- Castlewood Canyon State Park lies north of the Springs off the 83. It's absolutely beautiful for hiking and even has a playground. I could live here! It's gorgeous.
- Roxborough State Park is near Castle Rock and feels like a sibling to Garden of the Gods.
